BACKGROUND
The current CCHMC safety curriculum does not meet the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities, including current staff and interns. Learning materials need revision to promote safety and participation.
PROCESS
Conducted primary and secondary research through interviews with employees and educators, as well as thorough literature review.
Ideated on various education styles and develop personas representative of all learning styles and abilities.
Prototyped multiple low and high fidelity solutions and co-created with all stakeholders for most universal design.
